Sterkste stukken zijn het licht Spectoriaanse, onder de hoede van Mitch Easter opgenomen rockertje “Speak Up Girl”, het naar iets van Tom Petty overhellende titelnummer, het punky “Keep Me Down” en het ingetogen “New Hope”, waarin een mandoline, een fiddle en een accordeon een aangenaam tegengewicht vormen voor al het hier toch wel overheersende elektrische gitaargeweld. Lee’s teksten, zijn catchy liedjes, zijn energieke gitaarbehandeling en de verzorgde productie van het geheel geven aan dat we ook in de toekomst wel degelijk nog rekening met hem zullen moeten houden. “No Discretion” is alvast het soort van plaat waarvoor je de volumeknop met plezier een lel naar rechts zal geven.
